Yes. The membrane is vapour permeable (Class 4), allowing water vapour to escape while preventing liquid water from entering the roof system. This helps reduce condensation and moisture build-up within roof cavities.

No. VerraShield Covertek 409 is specifically designed as a roof membrane and must not be used as a wall wrap. For wall applications, use a dedicated wall wrap product such as VerraShield Watergate.

The membrane should not be exposed to direct weather or UV light for more than 30 days. Roof cladding should be installed as soon as possible after installation to maintain product performance and warranty.

Yes. VerraShield Covertek 409 is fire retardant and has been tested to AS 1530.2, making it suitable for Australian roofing applications requiring fire performance.

The membrane is suitable for roof pitches of3 degrees and above. It should not be installed on roofs with a pitch below 3 degrees.

No. It is not suitable for unlined applications such as sheds, garages, warehouses, canopies, soffits, or lean-to structures. Using the product in these applications will void the warranty.
